Thank you for shopping at odisha-handmade.com.

If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, we invite you to review our policy on refunds and returns.

The following terms are applicable for any products that you’ve purchased from us.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as handmade food products cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

     

      • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

      • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

    Refunds

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

    If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-5 working days.

    Late or missing refunds

    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

    Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

    Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

    Sale items

    Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

    Exchanges

    No Exchange for Food Items.

    Shipping returns

    To return your product, you should mail your product to our office address.

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

    If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

    Interpretation and Definitions

    Interpretation

    The words in which the initial letter is capitalised have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in the plural.

    Your Order Cancellation Rights

    You are entitled to cancel your order within 48 hr without giving any reason for doing so.

    The deadline for canceling an Order is 48 hrs from the date on which you received the goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.

    We will reimburse you no later than 48hrs from the day on which we receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the Order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

    Conditions for Returns

    In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

    The goods were purchased in the last 14 days
    The goods are in the original packaging
    The following goods cannot be returned: Pickles, Muduki, Badi
    The supply of goods is made to your specifications or clearly personalized.
    The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
    The supply of goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
    The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

    We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

    Returning Goods

    You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to Us. You should send the goods to the following address:

    We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.
